Agriculture

Agriculture is one of the sectors with the greatest economic, social, territorial and environmental importance, especially in developing countries. As a result, agriculture is one of the sectors of greatest economic, social, territorial and environmental importance, especially in developing countries, dedicamos una gran parte de nuestros esfuerzos a la participación en proyectos relacionados con el tratamiento del suelo y el cultivo de la tierra para la producción de alimentos y otros recursos mediante el uso de nuevas tecnologías. Therefore, trying to halt the decline in agricultural activity and contribute to rural development is one of our main premises.

Many of our projects related to this sector are about studying the terrain through mapping and land use studies for the possibilities of the land to exploit its resources and check its capacity to establish crops. Another of our tasks in the agricultural sector is to analyze the climatic variables that influence crop production and, therefore, the livelihood capacity of the communities that depend on them. We do this by means of applications that, using remote sensing, Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics detect and analyze extreme weather events such as hurricanes, floods or volcanic eruptions that influence existing crops or future crop growth capacity..

With these projects we aim to help establish and prosper activities that favor the use and exploitation of the land to promote the economic and social development of developing areas in Central America, Venezuela or the Sahel, and to promote the self-sufficiency of their communities, as in the project of the Land Use Cataloguing System for the Wilaya du Brakna Region, in Mauritania, or the Food Price Monitoring and Analysis System in Central America project.
