Alejandro Grindlay, Founding Partner of GIS4tech is elected territorial delegate of the Spanish Transport Association for Eastern Andalusia.

The Spanish Transport Association (AET) has presented its new structure of territorial delegates with the aim of increasing its regional presence and bringing its activities closer to the whole country, as one of the lines approved within the framework of the 2021-2022 Strategic Plan.

Since the development of this structure of territorial delegates began in the summer of 2021, members have been joining this network, which has already begun to carry out activities decentralised from the headquarters in Madrid. Thus, the AET has the representation and work of the following territorial delegates: North Galicia (Coruña), José Antonio Ferreira Dapía; South Galicia (Vigo), Antonio Bua Domínguez; León, Manuel Díaz Pavón; Asturias, Héctor Manuel Garcia Muñiz; Catalonia, Carlos Rodríguez Reichardt; Western Andalusia (Algeciras), Juan Antonio Ureta Pérez; Eastern Andalusia (Granada), Alejandro Grindlay Moreno; Valencia and Murcia, Pedro Catalán Vena.

In the coming months, AET plans to expand this network with new incorporations in the regions of Cantabria, the Basque Country, Extremadura, Castilla la Mancha, Castilla León, Aragón, Navarra, the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands. "With this structure, our aim is to guarantee closer and more effective attention to our members, as well as to organise meetings, conferences and activities throughout the country, coordinated by our delegates," explains its vice-president, Juan Manuel Martínez Mourín.

It also recalls that "the AET's mission is to promote knowledge and research into the different aspects and problems affecting transport systems, as well as their innovation and professionalisation". In this line, the AET advances in its vision of consolidating itself as a benchmark think-tank for the transport sector, generating knowledge and differentiated contents and offering services adapted to each group.
