The Port of Motril organizes a technical roundtable on the Granada-Motril train

Friday, February 17, Diario Ideal together with the Port of Motril organized a technical round table to analyze the impact of the lack of connectivity of the port with the capital of Granada and the rest of Spain by rail.
The participants at this table were the President of the Motril Authority, José García Fuentes, the Councilor of Development of the Andalusian Regional Government, the former Vice Dean of the Andalusian demarcation of the ICCP College, professor of the ETS de Caminos de Granada and Partner of GIS4tech Alejandro Grindlay and Carmelo Garrido, Member of the Board of the Spanish Transport Association.

The feasibility study of the railway connection between Granada and the Port of Motril and the competitiveness study. The study developed by our team and presented at this table shows that the Port of Motril would be equally or more competitive than other Spanish ports if it had a railway connection and its infrastructures were equal to the rest of the State Ports.
